Dropped in there today and had an amazing toasted Pannini with tomato, char grilled chicken, mayo and rocket leaves....real Italian style, the bread was so thin and crispy, and it was so big I had to get a dogie bag for half of it. They also gave me some sweet potato fries on the side ....free. Couldn't speak highly enough about this place.
Marco runs a great spot to get a decent salad or a really good Pizza... you can also get fries, steak and other great food at doable prices.... apart from great food, Marco always has time for a word - when the lunchtime queue is outside the door! BYOB in the evening!
Everything on the menu is so tasty! "Mis amigos" always made an special version of the dish (without meat) for me and always have an smile ready when I visit them! If I miss something from changing jobs is that I can't go for lunch at Pizzicato's anymore. It was great to came back after 4 months for a delicious meal. Thanks Marco & Co!!!
I had lunch here 2 days running, both meals were delicious. The philly cheesesteak baguette is stunning and I could eat their balsamic fries all day long! The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable considering both the quality and quantity of the food.
I took a group of hungry 9 year old girls on Saturday to Pizzicato. Marco was very welcoming and friendly to all the girls. We all ordered pizza and it was so good that not a single girl left a piece behind - any left overs were kindly boxed to bring home for later. The fries were also very delicious - thanks very much to Marco! Top marks to Pizzicato for tasty
Visit this gem at lunchtime about every 6 weeks as a Friday treat and it's best to go slightly earlier or later as it gets so busy for sit-down and takeaway alike. It is like stepping into a New York Italian - the host and his team are visibly cooking with passion and serving up some great Italian/US fare. The Philly sandwich is a classic, as are the meatballs and the pizza. Good portions - great value for money.
